Sears sold cobble hammer's as part of a "Cobbler Outfit" for $2.09 in 1908 which was a combination shoe, harness, and tinners' outfit. The hammer was used with brass clinch nails to re-attach soles or heels. A shoe was placed on a shoe last and stand during repair.
