Description:
A wood slick with a slightly curved blade and a hardwood socketed handle. A slick is pushed by bracing the handle against a shoulder or upper arm to make fine paring cuts. Slicks were used for timber framing. It is possible this tool was used in the building of the F. J. DeKelver's Exchange Hotel in the village of Pike.
