Description:
One man crosscut bucking saw (post saw) with a champion-tooth pattern (two alternately set cutter teeth and an unset raker with a gullet between them) that allows heavy sawing in extra hard, dry, or frozen wood. The saw blade is straight taper ground with the back of the saw having more clearance which decreases binding. The saw has a D-shaped handle. These saws were used both for felling trees and cutting trunks into logs.
